Still desperately demanding Val to back off and leave him be, the Quincy took a step back and opened fire at her once again, this time aiming at the girl's hands and knees, clearly in an attempt to disarm her. Val was still in the middle of motion, however, and so simply let herself continue spinning out of inertia - avoiding and deflecting both of the bolts as they came.

"I'm not pseudo-philosophical, though," the Fullbringer replied with a raised eyebrow, then suddenly slammed the butt end of her scythe to the ground. "We had to read Pushkin at sixth grade and I was the only student who didn't bring an essay because, uh..." She was off smoking with her sister.

The Fullbring suddenly began to fold and reshape, splitting into two - one took the shape of a futuristic looking revolver in the young woman's hand, while the other separated, grew, consolidated, and formed a human-sized robot, somewhat resembling its wielder with its "hair" and "clothes", yet also... obviously not a person.

Val stepped back, spun the revolver in her hand and opened fire, while mentally commanding her Fullbring to do the same - it released a barrage of bullets and high explosive rounds at the Quincy from both arms.

Iwan almost had a double take at the sudden and...normal statement the girl had just made. For a moment she almost sounded like a typical young adult, instead of a blood crazed killer. Without missing a step she would reform her weaponry into-

“Oh come on, there’s two of them?” Iwan muttered under his breath. A pained shock in his left leg sent him to a kneel. The quincy was excruciatingly fatigued and injured at this point. Every bone in his body was either broken or aching. Gashes from the previous explosions stung with every gust of wind. It probably didn’t help that the clothing covering them was no longer in existence. The cold would have been oppressive if not for the adrenaline combined with his heavy exertion.

Slowly Iwan pushed himself back up as they spun their revolvers. Some shots missed, to be expected from such an odd way of firing a revolver. The others he would manage to clumsily dodge. “I want you to be honest, girl. Are you planning to kill me or not?” He managed to get out before falling to a knee. “I’d like to know just how much more of this I’ll have to put up with…” He’d spin his rifle up and bolt it, letting her speak and finish before opening fire.

The two girls fired and fired, and yet, not a single one of the attacks hit, all of them either ending up dodged or never aiming at the Quincy in the first place. With a frustrated sigh, Val snapped her fingers, the mechanical clone dismantling itself and reforming into the gun-scythe, which then zipped right back into her hand. Just in time to block an incoming round, too, by deflecting it to the side and allowing it to hit the snow instead.

The Quincy was, once again, speaking to her, although his voice was heavier and weaker than before. In summary, he just wanted her to get to the point. How long will he have to deal with her, and will it end with the sweet release of death or not. Val struck a puffy frown and rested her scythe on her shoulder, playfully leaning back and fidgeting with her foot.

"It's almost like you're actively trying to make this not fun for me..." she muttered, grumbling a little, and turned her eyes to the skies. "Aw, don't worry, red snow man, I'm not planning to kill you. You're a Quincy, your people and mine got a common enemy and everything, and-"

"Think fast!"

Suddenly, the young woman aimed her scythe and opened fire.

Iwan glared as the girl voiced her dissatisfaction. Iwan once again dodged to the side as she tried catching him off guard. Say what you will about her combat skills, this girl was no sharpshooter. “I don’t find being violently attacked for no good reason fun. I certainly don’t care whether you’re having fun or not. You say you’re not trying to kill me, but I can barely move without losing blood or displacing a broken bone. A common enemy does not make for a common ally, as you’ve so ungracefully shown”

Once more he would lift his rifle up and bolt it. “I had some second thoughts about seriously hurting you. I don’t particularly care anymore. I hope these shots hurt” Iwan aimed down the sights and took a shot at her right shoulder. It was a larger target and if he struck it in just the right place he could disable her entire right arm. He’d wait a few seconds to observe how she reacted to it before picking a good moment to fire again. This time he’d focus all his fire on that single spot. If he could just disable her in some way he might be able to get out of this…

Hearing Val's reply, the Quincy yelled back and declared that getting attacked for no good reason could not possibly be fun, especially when wounds, bleeding and broken bones were all involved. He even went as far as to declare that while he was hesitant to hurt the Fullbringer before, he was not going to hold back even a bit now - and promptly opened fire yet again.

Val spun the war-scythe in her hands, so quickly that it began to look like a shield, and swiftly deflected both of the bullets. The Quincy might be in terrible condition, but she wasn't faring that great, either. Not because she was wounded, no... she just had a limit to how far she could push herself. And if she doesn't win quick, that limit might come sooner rather than later...

"Aw, but why are you so worried about a few cuts and broken bones?" the young woman suddenly called out as she raised her weapon in preparation to fire. "We're both, like... magical superpeople, if there's any people on Earth who can throw themselves into a risky battle and have fun, it'd be us. Fullbringers, Quincies..."

She raised her weapon and opened fire again, copying the Quincy's method of trying to clock her in the joints.

The odd manner in which the girl expressed herself was a bit grating to Iwan. She spoke like some kind of highschool punk. The fact that she had beaten him with little injury to show only added salt to his current wounds. What had started as a simple hunt for a hollow had resulted in a humiliating and painful defeat. Death, despite what the girl said, was still a possibility as well. After all he had never got to confirm that Hollow’s death. Perhaps she’d just leave him here and let it finish him off.

With a strained push, Iwan would attempt to dodge the incoming shots. The first dug its way into his elbow. He could feel it slip past the joint as he bent his arms for defense. The second struck him in the knee cap. Blood loss and cold had already ensured the leg was numb. All he felt was the dull impact of a foreign object, followed by a soft burning pain. Iwan fell to his good knee and winced as the bullet popped from his bent kneecap. He’d look up at the girl with a mixture of disgust, anger, and annoyance.

“Seems you can only hit a still target… Work on your aim, bachor…” He’d take in a shallow breath before falling to the side. He’d attempt to soften the landing, but couldn’t work his broken arm before the collapse. If his family could see him now… how disappointed they would be.

“Wybacz mi…” He sputtered out before finally slipping into unconsciousness.

Finally. She got a few good hits on the bastard. First the hand, then the knee, incapacitating the Quincy instantly and leaving him collapsed on the ground. And yet, he still tried to mutter something out before the pain caught up to him, sprinkling in words in his own language to make understanding him all the more confusing, before he finally collapsed to the snow and passed out.

"Hey, the only time you hit me was when I wasn't paying attention, too..." Val muttered to defend herself and sheathed the Liberator - the Fullbring once again turned into a dark red toolbox, which she slipped under her cape and attached to her belt. An ominous silence set upon the air. Nothing but a rushing wind and a brief "kurwa" which slipped out of the Fullbringer's mouth.

Wait. Was that Hollow dead or did it just retreat over the horizon? Sheesh, if that thing's still around somewhere, then it wouldn't be fair to leave this guy in the wastelands... He wasn't a Hollow nor a Shinigami, so there was no reason to wish him harm - even if she had kinda pissed him off.

He'll repay her later. Or maybe this counts as her repayment for breaking several of his bones.

Val grabbed the unconscious Quincy by the collar and tossed him over her shoulder, strolling away.
