CHRISTMAS PATCH!


Hey everyone~ On this Merry Day, we decided to to introduce the long awaited update to the game. These changes were made based on the observation of combat and were done so as to improve your combat experience on the site. Hope you all enjoy it and Merry Christmas to you all!

As with all updates and patches, this does not affect current threads. This only affects newly created threads going forward.




OLD! MITIGATE
You are able to dampen strikes and attacks against you and reduce any damage done.
Type: Defense
Activate: Bonus Action - Reactive
Effect: As a bonus action, on your turn, any critical hits against you are reduced down to normal hits. Also, any bonus damage is completely negated so you only take damage from the natural dice roll.
Cost: 15 Reishi
Limit: Once per battle.

NEW! MITIGATE

Replacing a few traits to fit their category better. Momentum and Rush now fall under General Traits. Also added another trait Agile!

OLD! MOMENTUM
Prerequisite: Reflexes Skill of 35
Activate: None (Passive) / At-Will
Effect:As a Passive effect, whenever one of your attacks fails to hit their target, you gain 1 stack of Momentum. As an At-Will action, spend a number of Momentum Stacks to increase your Accuracy (with all attacks on the same turn) by +5 per stack spent. Stacks of Momentum cannot be gained while holding back your Accuracy Modifier.
Limit: Max of 4 stacks used per turn.

NEW! MOMENTUM
Prerequisite: None
Activate: None (Passive) / At-Will
Effect:As a Passive effect, whenever one of your attacks fails to hit their target, you gain 1 stack of Momentum. As an At-Will action, spend a number of Momentum Stacks to increase your Accuracy (with all attacks on the same turn) by +5 per stack spent. Stacks of Momentum cannot be gained while holding back your Accuracy Modifier.
Limit: Max of 2 stacks used per turn.

OLD! RUSH
Prerequisite: Reflexes Skill of 45
Activate: At-Will
Effect: As an at-will action, you add Rush to one Non-Basic Attack during your turn. Rush makes it so if the attack misses or is avoided, it deals direct damage equal to the lowest damage die rolled with the attack.
Limit: Twice per battle.

NEW! RUSH
Prerequisite: None
Activate: At-Will

Blur trait has been moved to Reflex traits. Furthermore, Agile trait has been added into the list of Reflex traits.

OLD! BLUR
Prerequisite: None
Activate: None (Passive)
Effect: As a passive effect you can use one Movement Tech as an at-will action on your turn.
Limit: Indefinite.

NEW! BLUR
Prerequisite: Reflexes Skill of 35
Activate: None (Passive)
Effect: As a passive effect you can use one Movement Tech as an at-will action on your turn.
Limit: Indefinite.

NEW! AGILE
Prerequisite: Reflexes Skill of 45
Activate:At-Will
Effect:As an at-will action, you may avoid one critical attack on this turn.
Limit: Once per battle.

A new technique has been added to the Basic and Standard techniques arsenal.

NEW! EL ESCUDO
You create a light green barrier as a shield to block an incoming attack.
Type: Defense
Action: Bonus Action - Reactive
Effect:As a bonus action, you will gain 30 damage reduction against all attacks on your turn.
Cost: 10 Reishi
Limit: Once per battle.

Also added Arrancar's Forbidden Technique

NEW! RESPIRA
You unleash purple purplish black, smoke-like miasma which ages and rots everything it's in contact with.
Type: Utility (Considered a Forbidden Technique)
Action: Bonus Action
Effect:As a bonus action you have a 70% chance to inflict two stacks of special status effect Doom on the target. When Doomed, a foe is dealt 2 status damage each time they activate anything that requires a Standard Action for the duration.
Cost: 15 Reishi
Limit: Once per battle.

Hunter's Shroud has been buffed.

OLD! SHROUD
Suppressing to 1 Reiatsu makes you unable to be targeted by non-area attacks for up to 3 turns; you may not attack while this is active. Once per battle only.

NEW! SHROUD
As an at-will action you may not be targeted by non-area attacks for up to 3 turns; you may not attack while this is active. You may also use this in a reactive manner. Once per battle only.
