TRAITS OVERHAUL PATCH!
Version 1.9 Release Notes


Hey everybody! This time around we have some changes to the Traits and a bunch of other stuff! We've moved some traits around and reorganized the Keystone Trait Categories! Make sure you go check out the Traits Page in the Handbook to familiarize yourself with the new changes! If you have a question it will likely already be addressed there. If it isn't, always feel free to ask in the Discord #game_helpdesk channel!

As with all updates and patches, these changes do not affect current threads. This only affects newly created threads going forward.

You are also allotted a free respec each and every patch release.

You WILL be required to respec your build to adhere to these changes. We apologize about the inconvenience.




TRAITS

◼ All Keystone Trait categories start at a prerequisite of 30 and go up to 50.

◼ Added Rush to Fighting Keystone Traits (Previously in Reflexes). It is basically Fuchaku Hana now.

◼ Blitz is twice per thread rather than unlimited.

◼ Blur is now 4 times per thread rather than unlimited.

◼ Might is added to Focus Keystone Traits.

◼ Infuse chance percent increase from 30% to 40%.

◼ Efficiency reductions buffed from 1/3/5 to 2/4/6.

◼ Composure and Blur added to Reflexes Keystone Traits.

◼ Haste is now 3 times per battle instead of 2.

◼ Added Alacrity to Resilience Keystone Traits.

◼ Endure now has +15 armor instead of +10.

◼ Indomitable now has +5 DR instead of +4.

◼ Grit accuracy and defense increased to +10, and DR increased to +2.

◼ Rebuke now drains 10 Reishi instead of 5.

◼ Resist deals 4 and 2 direct damage now instead of 2 and 1.

◼ Resolve reishi gain increased from +1 to +2.

◼ Talented cannot be used with Release Techs. (It was never supposed to be, just tightening up the wording.)

◼ Tempered no longer increases the Release Stage cost.



RACES

◼ Swapped out the perks for traits. Shinigami get Alacrity, Fullbringers get Talented, Quincy get Efficiency, and Arrancar get Indomitable. These traits are free and do not take up any slots. (This choice is two-fold. One, if gets you a free trait. Two, it isn't an extra perk that stacks with said trait. We have too much of that going on.)



CLASSES

◼ Healer gets Keikatsu for free (It does not take up a tech slot) as well as the extra use of Luminous Healing.

◼ Removed the bit about the Enhanced Strike being free from Intense Training. See below for why.



TECHNIQUES

◼ Strike is FREE again.

◼ Byakurai's cost has been reduced from 5 to 4.

◼ Sai’s cost has been reduced from 6 to 4. Also, the rate to inflict immobilize raised to 35% from 20%.

◼ Removed Fuchaku Hana. (It is now the Rush Trait)

◼ Speed Clones is now considered a movement tech. (As it should have been)

◼ Phantom Pain is now a single use per battle but it transfers all non-special statuses. It does not affect special statuses like it did before. It now costs 5 Reishi instead of none.

◼ Barrier cost is reduced from 15 Reishi to 10.

◼ Bound Lightning dmg per die is increased from 1 to 2.

◼ Opening Revival now restores 30 hp instead of just 20.

◼ The Release Tech Ethereal's duration has been reduced from 4 turns to 2 turns. Stage 2 duration is now 3 turns. Stage 3 reduces Reishi cost to 15.

◼ The Release Tech Communion's duration has been reduced from 4 turns to 2 turns. Stage 2 duration is now 3 turns. Reduced cost from 20 Reishi to 15.

◼ The Release Tech Regenerate's duration has been reduced from 3 turns to 2 turns. Reduced cost from 30 Reishi to 20.

◼ The Release Tech Fortune's duration has been reduced from 5 turns to 3 turns. Stage 2 duration is now 4 turns.

◼ The Bastion Release Tech barrier HP is reduced from 50 hp to 30 hp. (Due to the dmg tier changes prior)

◼ The Entrap Release Tech barrier HP is reduced from 100 hp to 50 hp. (Due to the dmg tier changes prior)

◼ Removed the limited uses of Release Attack techs. You can now use them as many times as you like per battle.

◼ All Advanced Attack Techs/Spells and Release Attack costs have been reduced. Singles are 8 Reishi, Barrages and Areas are 12 Reishi across the board. (Changed from 10 / 15 / 20)

◼ All Advanced Attack Techs/Spells and Release Attack damage dice is now the same. Singles roll 4, Barrages roll 5, and Areas roll 4. (Changed from 3 / 4 / 3 for Advanced ones. The Release ones are unchanged.)
