Takano gave a shrug to Nezuel’s remarks on the Visored. “If you wish to chase legends, that is your choice. Personally, I find it to be a simple tall tale. Warning us to not interfere with Hollows lest we become them. A boogey man to ensure we continue to fight them. But if you do happen to find them, they’d be welcome here. Assuming they aren’t feral killing machines.”
Gaia seemed to be taking this Hollow Queen a smidge more seriously than he had expected. He had no doubt she was powerful, it took power to lead a Realm-wide faction. But if Nezuel’s remarks on her demeanor were to be correct, she could be outsmarted. If it was a dangerous or flawed hypothesis, it’d be due to the information he had to work with. Takano scratched the back of his head as Gaia pointed out his lack of sleep. She likely didn’t intend it as such, but it seemed she wanted to imply he was being irrational due to his current state.
“One does not require the mind of a child to act as one, Gaia. I know of several Shinigami in the Gotei 13 who are centuries older than I, yet could not beat me in a simple game of wits. That being said, I would have to deal with her eventually if Nezuel is to be believed. Best to act against her weaknesses. Which seems to be her mind.” Takano said with a half yawn. “But you are certainly correct on one thing, I could use some sleep.” He’d glance over to Nezuel and Lazarus. “Your rooms are down that hall and to the right. Pick whichever you like most. Please note down everything you know about the Hollow Queen when you get the chance, Nezuel. Rumors, Facts, Theories, everything.”
Takano stood and gave the trio a wave and made his way over to his own room. It would be nice to have others gathering information for once.
